Cut the chicken into large chunks
In a bowl add in your chicken followed by the spices
Add in the thyme, paprika, cumin powder, black pepper, garam masala, salt and soy sauce
Mix everything together and let the chicken marinate for 30 minutes
In a cooking pan or sufuria, add in oil and let it heat up
Add in your onions fry until translucent or slighly golden brown
Add in your ginger and garlic paste. Let it cook for about 2-3 minutes.
Add in your cumin powder, black pepper and chicken masala, stir and mix with the onions and ginger and garlic paste.
Next, add in your chicken breast and stir
Add in some very little water to ensure your chicken does not stick onto the cooking pan or sufuria
Cover and let the chicken cook for about 5-10 minutes until ready. As it cooks, keep on opening the cooking pan or sufuria to stir the chicken. This ensures that your chicken evenly cooks.
Once the chicken is ready, add in the ketchup and barbecue sauce. Stir and cover the cooking pan. Let the sauce simmer for about 2-3 minutes until it thickens.
Remove from the heat and serve your meal
