BLOGGER RECOGNITION AWARD

I take this moment to thank my creator for yet another opportunity to get this award and to all my loyal followers and family and friends who have been of support to me. I would say, it is a pleasure to get such a recognition owing to the fact that my blog is barely an year old.

The Blogger Recognition Award, is an award aimed at recognizing, great and growing blogs out there and the owners behind the blogs and letting the world know more about them. It is an award passed on to bloggers by other bloggers to show appreciation for their creativity, effort, commitment, passion and hard-work. Uhmmm! hard-work? You are wondering why the separation of the two words, well, blogging may look easy but it does require most of your time and commitment and utmost passion.

Holahme began as a platform where people can get to be informed more on trending technologies by simplifying the world of technology to non-techies and letting them enjoy similar fulfillment as the day-to-day techies keeping them abreast with the latest technology. The aim was to make a platform where readers find it easy to engage with technology as well as get inspirations and motivations.

You can make it if you set your mind to doing anything. To the new bloggers with some few tips blogging won’t seem that hard anymore. My advice for you is:

Be Patient and Consistent

It takes time and patience to have a fully functioning blog. You ought to be consistent in your writing, content and also how you display your blog theme and color to your readers. F.Y.I, a boring look turns an avid reader away, remember to always spice up the look of your blog. It attracts more than the written words. Though they say don’t judge a book by its cover, you gotta have a makeover for your blog since no one will stick around onto a boring outlook especially when in a hurry and they got to go through other blogs as well.

Get into Blogger Communities and Have close relations with other bloggers

This is a path I always encourage others to use as it has helped me a lot. I owe this especially to the WordPress community where they have close ties within the communities. For beginners, every Friday, you get a chance to post your blog for others to have a look and share their thoughts for the first one month. There is also the community pool where you engage with other bloggers whether as a new blogger or one who is in the system.

Engage also in Facebook groups as you get to learn what others are doing. There are a number of blogging communities on Facebook where you get to interact, and learn with fellow bloggers.

Engage with your loved ones, family and friends as they are the closest people who keep you inspired and motivated all through. I send a special thank you to a special person who inspired me on my blogging and has been a pillar all through. Check out their blog http://bionic0101.blogspot.co.ke/
